Diversified Contracting Services, Inc. was formed by industry veterans with a desire to build a strong and reliable general construction services company. The firm’s owners and managers have been involved in the construction industry for over 20 years with project experience in the commercial, industrial and hospitality sectors. A strong balance sheet and strict financial discipline have led DCS’s growth into many markets across the country. The firm currently serves clients in Mississippi, Louisiana, California, Washington, New Mexico, Colorado, Nebraska, and Oregon.

SCOTT THAGGARD – PRESIDENT

Scott graduated from the school of Architecture, Mississippi State University and has worked in the construction industry since 1995. Scott oversees the construction of projects as well as day to day operations.

ANDREW COPELAND – CFO
Andrew has served in the construction industry since 1996. He has served as an auditor, job cost consultant, internal controls specialist and most recently as a corporate controller. Andrew has authored two courses for the American Institute of CPAs as it relates to the construction industry in order to bridge the understanding of construction financial and tax issues amongst all parties related to the construction industry. Andrew joined DCS in 2013 and became a shareholder in 2016. Andrew is a graduate of Mississippi State University with a bachelors and masters in professional accountancy with a specialization in taxation.
